Field Office of the Canada-China Legislative Cooperation Project (CCLCP)

Established in October 2006, the Beijing Office is responsible for providing a full-range of in-country support and assistance for Canada-China Legislative Cooperation Project . The mandates assigned to the field coordinator have a number of important aspects, including:

• facilitating program delivery and logistical arrangements for in-country activities in coordination with the NPC partners;
• maintaining active and continuous connections with Chinese project beneficiaries to assess their needs and provide advice on project planning;
• providing on-going support to Chinese trainees both before and after the project activities through pre-departure briefing, follow-up debrief or knowledge dissemination;
• monitoring the progress of the Project and gathering information needed to evaluate the achieved results of project activities by conducting regular surveys or interviews with the Chinese beneficiaries.
