Our Approach

Our experience has shown that the ability to successfully contribute to parliamentary reform in Eastern Europe and worldwide requires a combination of ability to adapt our programs to the region’s political and cultural context, extensive expertise in the functioning of parliaments both in Eastern Europe and Canada as well as strong program management skills. We have successfully worked in partner parliaments in a number of countries to transfer and adapt Canada’s and other countries’ experience to the East European context:

• Members of our team possess strong academic background and extensive working experience in Eastern Europe. We are aware of the specific political and cultural context in various countries in the region;
• Our team has strived to build strong expertise in various aspects of the functioning of the Canadian and East European parliaments;
• Our team possesses strong program management skills and experience;
• We work closely with the Parliament of Canada involving Canadian parliamentarians and parliamentary staff in our work; Where relevant, we work with other government institutions as well.
• We have established a network of both Canadian and East European experts and associates possessing extensive experience and expertise in a variety of areas related to the work of legislatures.
